There is an organization that's building the next generation of latino leaders in business, non-profits, government and education. It's called Conexion and through a ten month leadership development program these latino professionals receive the tools they need to have the vision and understanding of the new world around us.
Yadires Nova-Salcedo is the host and producer of "Centro," a special news segment that airs on WBZ-TV Saturday mornings. "Centro" examines issues of importance to the Latino community including education, politics, current events and entertainment. CENTRO is produced in English with Spanish subtitles and focuses on issues of importance to the Latino community. Geared to educating New Englanders to the culture and issues that are a part of the Latino community, CENTRO explores a wide variety of subjects including current events, education, politics, and entertainment. CENTRO, hosted and produced by Yadires Nova-Salcedo, airs each Saturday morning at 7:55am.
